Is Liverpool speedrunning a descent into Manchester United’s banter club? They have spent a lot of money to get this trash.
We made it to the first England game. Do us a favor, check it out, and then send your thoughts to theeditor@football365.com
Long time United fan, long time Liverpool hater. And nothing makes me happier than to see Liverpool’s decline this season to which they adapted the exact playbook United used for their decline, but in just a few months instead of a few seasons.
Step 1: Give 350-400K contracts to older players who will burden the club long term. Liverpool looked at United for Rashford, De Gea, Sanchez, Sancho, Pogba and other contracts for Jones, Lingard etc, let’s do it and waste that money with stupid 350-400K contracts for Salah, Isak, Witze and VVD.
Step 2: Pay 3x a player’s price, just because. United with Antony, Maguire, etc. They are not, and never were, capable of a combined 100 meters. The prediction at the start of the season that Wirtz would flop and Salah is over, and has yet to be proven wrong.
Step 3: Return the wrong manager. Arne Slott if David Moyes with extra measures. He was able to ride Klopp’s team for a year to win the league, but now we have that mid-reset, and is showing his full potential as a slot manager, a worse version of ETH.
Step 4: Sell your players and replace them with crap. On current form, TAA, Diaz and News are all miles better than Frempong/Kerkees, Wirtz, Issac, etc. Spent 400 meters and dropped the team. This is the Manchester United Special.
Thanks for ruining everything that Klopp worked so hard to build. Love watching it. So yes, it looks like the good old days are over for Liverpool, and terrible decision after terrible decision has landed them below Manchester United, where they really belong.

It is November 12th as I write this today. Three months ago on August 12, I sent The following is for the mailbox:
“I swear this isn’t disingenuous sandbagging to take the pressure off a big spender (or possible derision from rival clubs’ supporters), it’s just an honest assessment of what I’m seeing, and what I think. Faced with many seasons, I just don’t know that 2025-26 is the year to be called “the first time to ask”.
Worrer, descendants of the mailbox.
I’m not ancient and I don’t have a crystal ball, but I’m a very sane supporter (even if I’m not always a sane person). And I’m sure there are plenty of sensible Liverpool supporters out there (sorry, not you Darren, although we do half share some thoughts on expectations this season).
I’m sure we’ll get to 21 in the top flight before any other club(s) will, it just won’t happen this year. Stumbling we still have a crisp gold lion on the shirt sleeve. We will go again.
Eric, Los Angeles CA (Icelandic Liverpool fan I met in Hong Kong the day after Palace knocked us off the Carabao, we said we’d take two of the next three (Villa, Madrid and City coming up). Well we’ve picked and good luck Iceland for your WC ability.)
Really interesting mail from GofizoI believe, who is a very old head here. And it shows.
While I don’t agree with some of what he says, he says it in a reasoned and reasonable manner. Also interesting and relevant, is what I think the phone from West Country was screaming at T-Wireless this morning. He followed a Scouse boy whose view was more reasonable, and who expressed himself more reasonably. Adds credibility to my thoughts on the people who have to work with the team location they support if nothing else. But I dig.
The central point here is something that has eluded the majority of those who have chosen Liverpool FC as the star in which they have hitched their (Cornish) wagon. That is: if you act like insufferable PR*CKs when your team is doing well, it’s to be expected when things go bad (if you even have the balls to comment at all—the comments you’ve been with forever, and unpleasantly, last season and early on).
Try to follow Gofizo’s lead and act like an adult, perhaps finding normal conversation a bit more pleasant. You just don’t see/hear this kind of rampant insanity from other fanbases in this country. Well, except for the increasing urgency of weapons fans, which is worse at worst, because they have zero basis for it. At least Liverpool have won stuff in living memory. But that’s another story for another day.
Finally, for another day, but I think ‘One Truck’ is a pretty tough look at Salah, especially since the truck has apparently fallen victim to old father time. Maybe help Bradley out if you’re all F**K moving forward? Maybe a reasonable copycat can pick up the baton and actually give us all a fan’s view from the root.

Richard Hughes has failed and P45 should be the result.
Signing five players and none of them have improved the title-winning team apart from Aktike and even he has now picked news boots without his work rate.
Why can the management give Kloppman who helps us rebuild our old midfielders with young and talented players, all four players are very good signings for Liverpool.
If Slott can’t figure out how to use them well in his team setup, I’m sure another manager will know how useful they can be in his team because they have potential and youth. Sack Hughes and replace him with Kloppman.
Madishiro LFC, Ibadan (no panic button yet, but the slot also has a lot of questions to answer)
I’m as neutral as the next person, but the trip is being sent to me I thought that was a pretty sensible email Too much to just slide.
There is an absolute vendetta against Liverpool by Cote, Oliver and the rest of the referees. As far as Pickford’s attempted assassination a few years ago, and Salah in action in the UCL final against Real.
Just this year, in Bournemouth’s opening game, Sensi handled the ball as the last man but Man City and Arsenal fan Michael Oliver kicked it off at Worcestershire. Then v Burnley, Ugochukwu should have seen red for almost breaking Macalister.
McAlister goes down with a head injury in the UTD robbery after a collision with Van Dijk. Michael Oliver didn’t pounce though, leading to Mebemo scoring and then Diallo having a clear handball ignored by the Verbrigade.
For people to ignore them, because they look down on my city is wrong, and there can be no other explanation than prejudice.
And as for Isaac and Wurtz, give them a break. They’re young by any standards, and it’s a lot of pressure to make the cut in England’s best team that can break anyone. They would be nice, but it would be faster if/when we could get someone like Zizo in.

Robertson is not about rewriting the offside decision but the whole thing about a corner that is momentarily suspended by the office. This, suspended, until the attacking team touches the ball after taking a strike or corner kick.
The wrinkle in the integration of the corner rule with the offside rule is that the goalkeeper may find himself in trouble on the goal line in one way or another unless a well-timed attacking player heads or kicks. Then the attacking player has to make himself scarce. Very little in var or some super fanville… the rest is refereeing. Anyway
I am reminded of the infamous incident when Shearer slapped around the Argentina goalkeeper in 1998 and Sol Campbell disallowed a goal. I had to understand from that moment that the goal was disallowed for a foul on the keeper rather than an offside offense by Shear.
I could be wrong but it was around this time that the offside rules were also being tweaked to allow referees and linesmen to back off or otherwise ignore unsettled players. This has now led to confusion, where players not interested in touching the ball are charged with offside offences.
Based on most of the footy I’ve seen since 1998 there’s always been at least one player in an offside position, and in probably the last two seasons, fifty corner incidents have scored goals with players close to the goalkeeper. It’s always a good laugh to have these players in corner attacks who were probably used to wrapping up the keeper in various ways then rolling around in the fetal position.
Maybe there’s a new rule around the corner. You are offside if, and only if, you are in a position with only the goalkeeper between you and the goal after the second contact of the ball. So for example you get a corner, a header knocks it down and a clever save from a vicious goaltender. Great fun!
Corners are usually only when the defense is being overwhelmed and the full backs or center backs are panicking kicking the ball up the pitch. Why not extend the office suspension from one corner to another touch? The defending team is not eligible to re-commute immediately after clumsily kicking the ball behind their own goal line.

Well, as usual, I’ll cut to the chase…. Why is there? An essay about an essay? And why not write “Dave Tickner” instead of “Editor F365” at the top? The block is valued at $60 million. And have failed miserably by all available standards.
The fact that he’s stupid enough (as the article is but doesn’t really acknowledge at all) to take his shirt off, knowing full well that he’s not in the game, or in a game that’s unexpectedly misunderstood, or even more selfish and ignorant is an unexpected misunderstanding.
It’s not di canio or (blamey, just imagine) le tissue, and it’s not characterized by any kind of virtue. Nor does it make the Spurs any more ridiculous and endearing (seriously, why do they keep thinking this? Gah… why on earth is this a story, and apparently a “wow, football eh?!” story? Fffs…

For centuries. It is not written by Dave Tickner or it should say Dave Tickner. The author’s name – Richard Mullen – is at the bottom of the article. This is a guest article and usually with guest articles, we encourage people to write about something they know/care about. When there is a large image of Richarlison, it is an indication that it is an article about Richarlison and thus not really aimed at anyone who is strangely offended by articles about Richarlison. Just look at the picture, think ‘not for me’ and then move on – EdJeez
