Tottenham agreed the move to solve the goalkeeper crisis moments before their first game


Tottenham have agreed a £12.5m deal for Slavia Prague goalkeeper Antonin Kinski.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is currently dealing with a squad crisis that has seriously affected his options in goal.

First-choice goalkeeper Guillermo Vicario remains sidelined with a long-term ankle injury, while defender Fraser Forster is ill ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle.

That means the Spurs will be dealing 25-year-old Brandon Austin First senior game for lunch clash – Live on talkSPORT – Nine years after the goalkeeper entered the club.

Tottenham moved quickly to solve this problem by signing Kinski, a young Czech Republic international, in the January market.

The 21-year-old player will go to England on Saturday evening for a medical examination.

Kinski has impressed in the Czech Premier League this season – keeping 12 clean sheets in 19 games and helping Slavia Prague to the top flight.
