Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has revealed there has been “no progress” on a new deal and he is in his “last six months” at the club.
reward The contract expires at the end of the season and he is now allowed to pre-contract with clubs outside England.
He is not the only important one. Liverpool The player is now in the final six months of his contract. With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk also able to talk to foreign clubs.
Alexander-Arnold has been strongly linked with Real Madrid for several months. And the European champions recently failed with a £15 million offer.
Salah is not being linked with any club despite strong interest from Saudi Arabia in the 2023 summer transfer window.
Liverpool would be very foolish to let the Egyptian forward leave for nothing but that is the direction we are heading.
In a surprising interview with Sky Sports‘ Patrick DavidsonSalah has said that “it’s the last six months” of his time at Anfield as things stand.
“Until now, yes,” the 32-year-old began. “This is the last six months (of my time at Liverpool). There is no development. We are very far from any development. So, we just need to wait and see.

Salah wants to end his time at Liverpool with more success and is desperate for another Premier League title.
“I still believe that the team needs a trophy,” he said. “Half the team is still there, like me, Trent, Virgil, Alison, Robo (Andy Robertson). We have to win one more trophy before we all go.”
Arne Slott’s lack of progress on a new deal is surprising given Salah’s importance.
The former Chelsea forward has a ridiculous 20 goals and 17 assists in 26 matches this season.
