Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has laughed off speculation that Man Utd could sign Aleksandar Pavlok from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils began the season in similar fashion with an inconsistent 2024/25 campaign, which saw them finish 15th in Ruben Amorim’s first term at the club.
However, Amorim – who is under a lot of pressure – looks like he is turning it around with Old Trafford. Man utd Winning three matches in a row.
Amorim’s side are now sixth in the Premier League after nine games at the Red Devils in victories over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.
And now Man Utd are turning their attention to the next two transfer windows as they look to add more reinforcements to Amorim after spending more than $200m on five new players in the summer.
One player who has been linked in recent weeks is Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Pavlovic but Romano has dismissed any suggestion he could join UTD anytime soon.

Romano said at that Youtube Chanel: “For Pavlovic, guys, I can guarantee you that nothing, absolutely nothing is going on. Pavlovic is an important player for Bayern, he is more than happy at Bayern.
“Bayern—and when I say Byrne it’s the board of directors, but the most important people at Bayern like Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Olli Hoenes and all the others—they all see Pavlovic as one of the main faces of the project for the present and for the future.
“So there is nothing between Pavlovic and Manchester United. I don’t know where this news is coming from but Byron Pavlovic will not sell. So forget about it.”
Man UTD are keen to sign at least one midfielder in the next couple of transfer windows and Stuttgart’s Angelo Steler has been confirmed as a target by Romano.
Romano said last week: “I always receive a lot of questions on Angelo Stellar. In the past few days there was a report by Blood that Man UTD is tracking the player. Man UTD has always followed this player. Stellar is really appreciated internally at Man UTD.
“Last summer, we had some stories, going on a mission to Germany, and negotiating to sign Stellar as a surprise for the last weeks.
“Steller was always going to stay in Stuttgart in the summer transfer window, especially in August. There was no chance to change the story in the last days of the window.
“But Steeler is a player that’s monitored by human resources. They’re following him. They’re keeping a close eye on his progress.”

Anton Semino has been one of the most in-form players in the Premier League this season and The Daily Telegraph It has now been revealed that Bournemouth ‘rejected £50million offers’ from Manchester United and Tottenham in the summer.
The report added: ‘This made it easier for him to reject United and Tottenham’s range, with Semino buying the idea and agreeing a new contract – with a pay rise – and, crucially, his agent being able to tell other clubs but which is not being made public.
‘Semenio has only been at his best with Erling Holland. If he continues like this, the 25-year-old Ghana international will not only be sold for more than he was offered, but was even suggested by United and Spurs last summer. ‘
