Pundit Rio Ferdinand has singled out a “brutal” reason why Ruben Amorim has struggled since replacing Erik ten Hague at Manchester United.
Amorim Took over at Man Utd last month and endured a poor start at Old Trafford while trying to implement a new system.
Since their 2-1 comeback win against Man City, Red Devil They have lost four games in a row in all competitions. In total, they have lost six of Amorim’s eleven matches.
On Monday night, Man Utd lost 2-0 against Newcastle United at Old Trafford and it’s fair to say that the scoreline pleased the hosts.
Ferdinand later explains why a “brutal problem” has affected Amorim the most, while another factor is “great despair”.

On his podcast, Ferdinand said: “He (Amorim) stressed in his comments after the game that he had four training sessions with the team in six weeks.
“And when you’re looking at why there are issues with the team and with the results he’s had there, I think that has to be a huge part of that.”
“Any manager will tell you that you need time on the training pitch, if they want to implement their philosophy, they want to build confidence in the team, they want to make sure the motivation is right at the right time. But, then they need time on the field. He doesn’t have that, so there’s a set of problems.
“I think not being able to coach a team on the training pitch is going to lead to bad results, I think the profile of the players there is not what he wants to do, and he’s looking for it brutally. is One of the reasons is that he couldn’t train with those guys.

He later added: “It’s my fault too. The team is not improving.
“It’s a bit lost in the moment and it’s a bit embarrassing to be the manager of Manchester United and lose so many games.
