A new report has picked an ‘unexpected move’ for Manchester United supporters to ‘watch out for’ during the winter transfer window.
The new head coach Reuben Amorim Inherited a mess at Old Trafford and has had a poor start since replacing Erik ten Hag.
under Amorim, Man Utd They have lost six of their eleven matches in all competitions and are 14th in the Premier League after 19 matches. Worryingly, They are just seven points off the relegation places.
Man Utd’s recent performances have made it abundantly clear that a major rebuild is needed in 2025 and it could start in January as several players are at risk of being fired.
Winger Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with Man Utd’s squad to face Man City at the Etihad on December 15, with Marcus Rashford ruled out.
A few days later, Rashford announced he was “ready” to leave United, while Garnacho apparently kept his head down as he returned directly to Amorim’s squad.

However, Amorim clearly does not fully trust Garnacho as the Argentina international has been restricted to cameo appearances off the bench in United’s last three Premier League games.
A new report by The Daily Mail Claims A possible exit is an ‘unexpected move’ for Garnacho to ‘keep an eye on’ in January.
Despite all the hype surrounding Rashford, Garnacho is actually overpriced based on his high transfer fee and low wages. United can sell him for a higher price and have no problem paying off a huge contract that still has three-and-a-half years to run.
‘Having previously been seen as untouchable under Ten Hague, the Argentine winger is not a natural fit for Amorim’s 3-4-3. United are still unlikely to sell him but a combination of factors will at least force United to give some consideration to any offer.’

While ‘virtually everyone is for sale’, the report also names six specific players who could be on the move in January.
‘The growing crisis at United means that virtually everyone is for sale at the right price, with only a few exceptions.
‘Homegrown players like Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobe Mino account for 100 per cent of the profit on the PSR balance sheet and are thus worth almost four times more than their team-mates.
‘United will listen to offers for Rashford, one of the highest earners on £315,000 a week who missed four matches before returning to the bench against Newcastle. He may have to make a loan move with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, as was the case with Jadon Sancho’s switch to Chelsea in the summer.
‘United are keen to offload long-time top-earner Casemiro as well as £82m flop Antoine, while Zerkezi has also been linked with a swift exit after a difficult start at Old Trafford.
‘Other players such as Christian Eriksen and Viktor Lindelof could go but are out of contract in the summer and are unlikely to command a fee.’
