The pair of London clubs have reportedly made initial contact with Marcus Rashford’s agent and brother, Dwayne Maynard, about his return to the Premier League.
Rashford Far from it is on his second loan Manchester United In so many seasons. Although he is one of their main targets, the Red Devils man has never counted boss Ruben Amorim as a fan.
That much was clear as soon as the Portuguese manager walked through the door in November 2024, and the likes of Rashford went out on loan to Aston Villa, and now Barcelona.
Reports have long suggested that Rashford wants to play for the Spanish giants, and there is a chance that he does so permanently, with a €30m ($26.2m) option to buy the forward a steal.
however, National Reports that the United man’s future in Spain is ‘far from guaranteed.’ Kleb is reportedly having doubts about whether paying the option for Rashford is worth it.
It has been felt that Barca could use the money spent on the Englishman on a star striker instead.
If they are not going to sign Rashford, he will still have options. He has already said that if he does not sign permanently at Barca – although that is his preference.
In fact, it’s been said that he doesn’t want to waste time and is open to joining another club if Barca decide they don’t want him.
His brother and agent, Maynard, has reportedly already held meetings with London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham regarding his future.
The two are said to have made initial contact to try to convince Rashford to move.

Tottenham’s struggle to find a suitable left-back this season means the Englishman would be a great asset there, while the Blues have plenty of forward options, so a move should not be welcomed.
In any case, it is known that Rashford does not want to return to United, and his preference, if they want to sign him, is to stay with Barca.
This term it seems that Barca will be happy to sign him, as he has been in top form and is having a big impact at the second-placed club.
Barca’s uncertainty over the move doesn’t seem the most rational, and given that he would be cheaper than other players who would similarly impress them, it might be a poor call to let him go and try to sign someone better at a similar price.
