Nottingham Forest have ‘voiced’ Roberto Mancini and Sean Dyche, according to widespread reports.
Postus Koglo was brutally dismissed inside 21 minutes of Forest at the City ground on Saturday afternoon.
A club statement read: “Nottingham Forest The football club can confirm that following a string of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postkogelo has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect.
“The club will make no further comment at this time.”
After dismissing the post-cologne, Guardian It is claimed that Nottingham Forest have sounded out Sean Dyche and Roberto Mancini over the vacancy, while Fulham boss Marco Silva is also on the shortlist.
The report added: ‘Both Mancini and the Dutchman are out of a job, while Marinax is a long-time admirer of Fulham manager Marco Silva, who he previously appointed to Olympiakos, the other big player in his stable of clubs. Silva’s Fulham contract, which expires at the end of the season, is thought to have a buyout clause of around £8million.

‘Forest are willing to pay for a manager but they have profitability and stability considerations in mind after sacking another manager in two months, plus a summer spend of around £200m on 13 new players.’
When asked about the moment he was dismissed post Coglow, Nottingham Forest captain Ryan Yates said: “Angel came in after the game, deflated the game, and then I went out for a bit of a run, came back and obviously the news broke, he was gone.”
Yates added: “We talk to a lot of people in the boardroom. It’s not out of the ordinary. Obviously, some things I can’t discuss, but what I can say is that we need to do more as players. It starts with us on the pitch.
“We haven’t been that good. We need to look at ourselves in the mirror as individuals, and we need to fix things.
“We owe it to the supporters who applauded us at the end after a 3-0 home defeat.
“You’re not getting as many spots, and that’s a bit of a bummer for us, and we need to do everything we can to change that.”

Yates added: “It’s part and parcel of being a professional footballer at this level (fronting the media in situations like this).
“The results haven’t been that great. Now we’re never massively surprised by anything, and we’ve got more to give to get better.
“I can tell you the dressing room is extremely close together and we owe the fans more than ever to justify the results.”
