Real Sociedad midfielder Luka Sucic has responded positively to speculation about a move to Man Utd ahead of the January transfer window.
The Red Devils are being linked with a number of players with the winter market opening in the New Year and Ruben Amorim’s side are in desperate need of an overhaul.
Amorim has faced new challenges like his predecessors at Old Trafford. Man Utd Boss also struggled for consistency in performance and results.
One player who has been linked with improving Amorim’s squad is Real Sociedad midfielder Souk, who signed from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer transfer window.
Having made 18 appearances since joining the La Liga side, reports have emerged claiming Man Utd are interested ahead of the winter market but Sucic is not aware of their interest.
Suk said sports news: “I was told about a possibility that appeared in public. I myself read about it later.
“Nobody called me from England. I’m signing a contract with Real Sociedad, where I feel good, good, where I fit perfectly. Have the clubs talked? I don’t know, and I’m not worried about that topic. Such stories have happened before and will happen in the future.
Asked specifically about the Man Utd links, Sucic added: “United are a global giant, a respected giant in the world of football. Of course, I love being associated with the Red Devils, but I am keeping my feet on the ground.

Man Utd director Christopher Weville knows Souk from his time at Red Bull Salzburg and reportedly recommended the midfielder to the Red Devils’ recruitment team.
When asked about it, Sock continued: “Mr. Wavell knows me well from my Red Bull days, that’s all I can say, and unfortunately I don’t know that in the football business. What does one do and what do they say Lord’s ways are strange, and so are professional footballers…”
Man Utd boss Amorim insists he knew what he was signing up for when he took the job at Old Trafford after a difficult start to his tenure.
Speaking on today’s matchday program ahead of their match against Newcastle, Amorim said: “When I took the job, I knew I was signing up for a lot of work.
“If we want to make the long-term changes that we want to make at Manchester United, we have to go through it step by step. We are trying to implement a new way of playing at the busiest time of the year. So we have short-term costs for our long-term goals.
“I will say though that the players are working hard to absorb and utilize all the new information and instruction they are getting. The longer they do it, the easier it will become for them, and then the comfort and confidence in our game will grow.”
