Man Utd are reportedly set for a huge cash windfall as Tottenham and other clubs make moves for Marseille striker Mason Greenwood.
While I Man utdthe 24-year-old was suspended by the Red Devils on January 30, 2022, on charges related to a young woman after he posted photos and videos of a young woman online.
He faced charges including rape and attempted assault, but the Crown Prosecution Service announced in February 2023 that the case had been closed.
Greenwood eventually left Old Trafford in July 2024 when he joined Marseille in a £31.6m deal after Manchester United retained a 50 per cent sell-on clause.
The 24-year-old has been prolific for the French side after leading the way with 21 goals and five assists in 34 league appearances last term.
Greenwood capped his season with eight goals and four assists in 12 appearances in all competitions after Lens scored against Marseille 2-1 on Saturday.

It has been claimed over the past two months that Marseille will now demand as much as $100m with the French club stipulating that 50 per cent of any sale would go to UTD.
If Greenwood is sold for £100m, the Red Devils would be entitled to £50m (£44m) and there are rumors that Premier League sides are now interested.

The report adds that Premier League sides Tottenham and West Ham are ‘also in the race’ with a report on Monday. Thomas Frank may opt to try and offload Dominic Solanke.

When asked earlier this month whether Greenwood could become one of the world’s elite if he maintains his current form, Marseille boss Roberto de Zerbi replied: “It’s true that Mason doesn’t need to do better, not just in terms of goals scored.
“He is already a top player in front of goal, but he can become one of the best in the world, because of his ability.
“He can improve to help the team when needed. But I want to avoid criticizing Mason, he always scored a lot of goals and never missed a training session. But he still has room for improvement.”
