Manchester United are reportedly ‘preparing to make a swift move’ to land the star Premier League winger in January before Liverpool and other big clubs can get there.
United’s attack has improved from stale options last season. No player scored more than 10 goals for them in the Premier League and striker options Joshua Zerkezi and Rasmus Hojlund were both very poor.
New boy Benjamin Sisko is coming into his own, as is wide man Mathis Cunha, while Brian Mbemo won the Premier League’s Player of the Month for October.
The three aforementioned forwards all joined the club in the summer, when united Bournemouth were also interested in signing him Antonine Semeneu.
He scored 11 goals and assisted six more in the Premier League last season, and has six goals and three assists from 11 games this term.
United are once again interested in Semino before January, and Caught offside Reports suggest he ‘wants to move quickly’ to take on Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.
If these reports are to be believed, it’s the Reds they should probably fear the most.
It was recently claimed that a $70 million offer for Semino was to be tabled at Anfield, despite transfer insider Fabrizio Romano suggesting that. It is unlikely that this move occurs in winter.
He said: “I don’t think it’s going to be a mid-season departure, I don’t think it’s going to happen with Liverpool. I think Liverpool are going to be very quiet in the January window. In the summer, it could be different.
“I still want to respect Bournemouth, let them enjoy the player. It’s still November and they’re not planning for him to go in January.
“There is a lot of interest in the player and there is a release clause, so it is a very interesting situation but I think it is for the summer window. For January, it is very unlikely.”

That there is a release clause for the summer suggests he will offer clubs, knowing what the price is, that will unlock a move for Seminole.
What’s more, if last season is anything to go by, the Cherries are unlikely to ring in the winger anymore.
There was interest in Dan Hodgson, Ilya Zabarny and Milos Krkez for most of last season, but Bournemouth strengthened over the winter before being sold in the summer, giving themselves plenty of time to sort out their squad for this season, which has certainly helped them stay competitive.
