Man City boss Pep Guardiola has predicted a fresh Premier League title amid Arsenal and Liverpool’s different form in recent weeks.
The Citizens have returned to contention in recent weeks with the Citizens quietly going about their business in the background as Liverpool and Arsenal grab all the headlines for different reasons.
Man City They have won four of their last five Premier League matches to leave them three points behind leaders Arsenal ahead of their Sunday fixture.
There is a chance Guardiola’s side will finish top of the Premier League table at the end of Sunday Arsenal lost to Crystal Palace and Man City beat Aston Villa.
After five wins from five to start the season, Liverpool dropped to sixth in the Premier League standings after losing their last four.
Despite their disastrous run of form, Guardiola still has Arne Slott’s side “one of the main favourites” and believes Arsenal are “not going to drop too many points”.

Guardiola said Haters TV: “In the Premier League, I have the feeling now that Arsenal are not giving up many points. So that’s the reality. I have the same feeling with Arsenal, with Liverpool.
“Now Liverpool have lost their last games, not in the Champions League in Frankfurt. But I saw the game against United, they had incredible chances to win the game.
“So I think Liverpool are one of the main favorites for that. And at this stage the distance, three, four points is nothing.
“I always had the feeling that both teams and maybe someone else, they would lose some, some points.
“That’s why we have to be there.”
Erling Haaland has scored 15 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for Man City this season and Guardiola insists the Norway international “feels fit” as he prepares to start his third game in eight days.

When asked about the possibility of Holland being rested, Guardiola replied: “I’m very sorry for my colleague Solbakken, the manager of the national team from Norway, but I’m not thinking about that.
“So maybe in the end. We won by ten points in front of the Premier League, ten fixtures before and after that, he will rest. But now he feels fit, he feels fine.
“We’re in the position right now, the Champions League is massively important.
“The games we’ve played so far and the next two games, like the next two at home, will give us a real chance to finish in the top eight.”
