Chiasa has only been a part-time player for Liverpool since moving to Anfield in the 2024 summer transfer window, but he has impressed to shine this season and needs to play more regularly.
Nevertheless, a report from a Spanish outlet Transfer Claims Slot ‘doesn’t want’ Chiasa, who wants to be ‘vacated’ and ‘rejected’ in the coming months.
There are said to be three ‘factors’ influencing his departure. The report claims:
‘First, there is internal competition: Liverpool have a number of attackers who fit better into their system. This limits Chiasa’s opportunities.
‘Secondly, his adaptation: the transition from Juventus to English football was sudden, and the competitive context of the Premier League demanded more of him than in previous stages. Furthermore, the fact that its current value is reduced compared to its acquisition cost and initial expectations encourages the transfer option to minimize losses. ‘
