Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Liverpool boss Ern Slott needs to let go of Milos Krkez to see an improvement in performances.
The Reds started the season in impressive form as the slot outfit managed to win five of their first five Premier League matches.
But since then it has been a disaster Liverpool They have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions and five of their last four Premier League games.
Neville believes that Liverpool, who have moved up to seventh Premier League TableMore points could have been on the board this season if they took their chances and replaced some of their under-performing players.
Kerkes, who played in their 3-2 defeat with Brentford on Saturday, has been largely ineffective since joining from Bournemouth in the summer and Neville now believes he needs to leave.
Neville said Sky Sports: “I really think that there were some of those games that they lost that they could have won, if they took their chances, turning it around the other way.

“Early in the season, I felt that their full-back wasn’t right, maybe Ibrahima Konate’s times weren’t right and Virgil van Dijk was keeping him together and Alisson was in goal.
“You’ve got two world-class actors there in Van Dijk and Ellison, but the virus is catching on. It’s not going left-wing yet.
“The left wing problem is becoming a problem. He (Kirquez) scored a goal last night but looking at it, he has to be taken out I think.
“I’m worried about the right-back.
Neville added: “If he works on playing Kerkes on the left and he plays Bradley at right-back, and they work on being exposed like they are in midfield, you’re going to get the same results.
“Every game you flip a coin and think, ‘Are we going to win or are we going to lose?’ , and that may not be what Liverpool have been about these last 12 months.
“I like the manager a lot, I like the way he works, I like his style in press conferences, there doesn’t seem to be any panic from him.
“But deep down, it feels like he has to intervene. He doesn’t allow the same things to happen every week.”

The former Man Utd defender insists Liverpool head coach Slott must change his direction to guarantee a “strong foundation” for their rebuilding season.
Neville added: “Slat’s Liverpool reminds me of our team at Manchester United.
“We went through crazy periods where we conceded goals. It looked like we were going to score but we were all in place. It wasn’t all the time but there were moments I remember these things happening.
“What he (Sir Alex Ferguson) will do is he can put John O’Shea on the left, me at right-back or Wes Brown at right-back, almost four centre-backs, and then really tighten the midfield and make them more solid.
“The one thing you can guarantee with Mohamed Salah, Hugo Ektyke, Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo, and what they have achieved, is that they will score goals.
“So the seven-plus goalies are responsible for making sure they’re solid and they’re not open or exposed all the time. It sounds pretty defensive and it seems like going back to base camp and starting from scratch, but sometimes you have to.
“When everything is crazy, chaotic and crazy, which it is for Liverpool at the moment, you just have to look for a strong foundation and that means having players there who can keep a tight four, block spaces, win you over, make sure you don’t give away easy goals, you don’t have to play faster and stop popping it in midfield.
“Just be a bit more direct, knowing that the front three will win you games. That’s happened a lot at United and I just wonder if it’s time for Arne Slott to take it easy and pull him back.”
