Liverpool’s presence in the battle for the Bayern Munich forward makes the ‘financial challenge impossible’ to win another European giant.
The Reds spent the majority of their nearly $450 million summer spending on players in the attacking third. In fact, the three most expensive players were Alexander Isak, Florian Wertz and Hugo Ektyk.
So far, they have had little of the former pair, although Ektyk has made a fine start with six goals and an assist to his name.
Liverpool Stick with the forwards given the struggles facing other signings, and the fact they now sit eighth in the Premier League, having lost five games from 11.
Their interest in the Bayern Munich star would be detrimental to a European giant, as it has been reported. Gazzetta dello Sport This ‘competition with Liverpool’ moves to Juventus Serge Gnabry An ‘impossible’ financial challenge.
This and the fact that it has become clear that the winger’s salary has been reached following a scouting inquiry means that Juventus’ interest in the winger has cooled.
Gnabry is out of contract with Bayern at the end of the season, and if he doesn’t renew with the Bundesliga giants, he’s putting himself in a good position to pick up elsewhere.
In fact, in nine Bundesliga games so far this season, the 30-year-old has four goals and three assists.
There have been reports suggesting that Ganbury’s form bodes well for a potential new deal.
Bayern director Max Eberle has refused to give any indication of whether the winger will offer a new contract, saying: “I think Serge Vincent has developed very well under (Kompanie). His performances are arguments that are good for him, but also for us. His contract expires next summer.

If he becomes available on a free, it won’t be a huge risk for any interested party to take him on since it’s only his salary that will be paid.
That being said, when he last played in England, Gabi didn’t make an impact at either West Brom or Arsenal before being immediately activated when he moved to Werder Bremen.
That suggests he might be a better fit in Germany than in England, and Liverpool could certainly sign a player whose Premier League experience shows them in a better light.
