Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry as the German approaches the final months of his contract.
The 30-year-old is in the final year of his deal at the Allianz Arena and is able to discuss terms with foreign clubs in a little over a month. As a result, the Bayern star is attracting interest from European giants, a report has claimed.
Gnabry has made seven Bundesliga starts with two further appearances from the bench for Vincent Kompany’s high-flying side this term.
He has scored four goals and recorded three assists, as well as netting twice for Germany this calendar year.
According to German journalist Christian Falk, Bayern remain in discussions over a possible extension, although a reduced salary would be required for any renewal due to the scale of his existing earnings.
His report further claims that Liverpool and Juventus are among the clubs showing interest in signing the 55-time German international as a free agent next summer.

The Premier League champions have been linked with several forwards in recent months, and reports in Germany argue that Gnabry’s contract situation places him among the names being monitored as part of their summer review.
It has been claimed that Liverpool have made inquiries while evaluating whether an experienced wide player arriving on a free could allow them to allocate fees elsewhere in the squad during the same window.
Despite the links, it is still understood that January additions at Anfield remain unlikely.
Gnabry’s potential availability without a transfer fee has increased interest from several clubs, and reports have noted that Liverpool view his volume of top level experience across the Premier League, Bundesliga and Champions League as part of their wider assessment.
The former Arsenal winger rebuilt his career in Germany after leaving England in 2016.
