However, he seems to be willing to reverse his retirement for war in the White House.
US President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he wants to hold an UFC event at his official place as part of the US 250th anniversary in July.
“We intend to have a UFC war for the reason for the White House,” Trump said at a demonstration in Iowa.
“We have a lot of land there. Dana is going to do it.”
Although the event has not yet been official, several big fighters with the big name are shooting for the headline slot.
Konor McGregor shared a series of direct messages between him and the UFC President Dana White and discussed the possibility of his war on the card, while Jones threw his hat into the ring.
“War on White House?” Jones sent on X, previously Twitter.
“We only entered the test pool again, which lasted for about two weeks. It was thought to keep everyone’s options open.”
To return to Octagon, UFC fighters must re -enter the drug test for at least six months.
It is still clear whether Jones has actually entered the pool again, without formal confirmation of UFC at the time of writing.

Jones last in November 2024 competed in a routine victory of an aging myosic to maintain its UFC heavyweight title.
The 37 -year -old was expected to defend his belt against the long -term temporary champion of Tom Aspinal, although Jones decided to hang his glove instead.
Last month, referring to social media, he wrote: “Today, I formally announce my retirement from UFC.
“This decision is made after a lot of reflection and I want to express a moment to express my deepest appreciation for the journey I have experienced over the years,” he said.
“From the first time I came to Octagon, my goal was to push the boundaries of what was possible in the sport,” he said.
“Becoming the youngest UFC hero in history, defending my title against some of the world’s best fighters and sharing unforgettable moments with fans around the world – this is the memories I cherish forever.

“Your unparalleled support and belief in me has been my foundation. For my colleague fighters, thank you for getting the best in me and for the respect we have shared inside and outside the cage.
“When I close my life this season, I look forward to new opportunities and challenges,” he said.
