Jamie Redknapp hailed Mohamed Salah as ‘phenomenal’ following Liverpool’s 5-0 win away to West Ham.
Salah continued his excellent campaign as he scored and provided two assists during his side’s comprehensive victory at the London Stadium.
The 32-year-old’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain but he has been incredible this season and his dazzling footwork frequently bamboozled the West Ham defense.
Former Liverpool player Redknapp admitted that he is now running out of superlatives for Salah.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp said: ‘It’s frightening what Salah is doing at the moment.
Salah is phenomenal, he’s absolutely incredible.

Former Liverpool player Redknapp admitted he is running out of superlatives for Salah
It’s almost hard to find more superlatives about him. Liverpool were ruthless and he was a big part of that. He looks like he’s enjoying his football. He’s a phenomenon. He is so effective, you can’t deny the numbers he puts in week in, week out.’
Salah is top of the Premier League goalscoring charts this season with 17 goals, while he also leads the way in terms of assists with 13.
The Egypt international is playing with a lot of confidence at present and he will be determined to ensure that Liverpool win the Premier League title this season.
Arne Slot’s side are currently eight points clear of their closest challengers Nottingham Forest with a game in hand, with Salah having played a major part in the proceedings.
Salah’s Liverpool contract is set to expire at the end of June next year and he has yet to agree a new deal.
After the game against West Ham, Salah admitted that his future is far from being resolved.
‘No, we are far away from that,’ Salah told Sky Sports, when asked if there are any positive updates on the situation.
I don’t want to put something in the media and people start saying stuff, but nothing really (has) moved on.
Salah admitted that his Liverpool future is still some way from being resolved
But for now I’m focused on the team and hopefully we win the Premier League.
I will do my best for the team to win the trophy. There are a few other teams catching up with us and we need to stay focused and humble and go again.
I am just trying to enjoy the game. At the end of the day I came here for the result and I wanted to do something in the game, but I am almost hungry for more.’
