Inge Post Kuglow will reportedly seriously consider a return to Celtic, and ‘could be an option’ if the club has a job.
The post-Cologne era in England is probably now over. In his first season, with Tottenham, he finished fifth in the Premier League.
They then won the Europa League the following season, but finished 17th in the league, leading to the Australian being given the boot.
And then after 39 days at Nottingham Forest – failing to win a single game – he was sacked there.
The manager explained how he felt he was generally “not fit,” and that it was unlikely another Premier League team would give him a chance.
But there is a possibility of a return to the former party Celticwhere Post Coglow Won the Scottish Premiership in both 2021/22 and 2022/23 before moving to Tottenham.
According to Football insiderthe manager would seriously consider a return to Celtic if the opportunity arose.
And as explained within the report, there’s a chance it might. He ‘could be an option’ if current manager Brendan Rodgers doesn’t sign a new deal, sources have reportedly said.
Rodgers – who has guided Celtic to the title in the last two seasons – is out of contract in 2026, and the report suggests he is ‘likely to leave quickly’ amid a feeling that things have gone stale as a result of a lack of ambition and support from the board.
elsewhere, Talk port suggesting Rodgers is likely to step down as Celtic boss when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Rodgers has previously managed Swansea, Liverpool and Leicester, and his spell as a Premier League manager was more successful than that post-Cologne.
In 312 matches in the English top flight, Rodgers won 139 games, at a rate of 1.56 points per game.
Post-Cologne managed 81 games in the Premier League, winning 31 and averaging 1.3 points per game.
As such, if Rodgers were to return to England, he would likely do better than his potential successor, who seems better suited to managing Celtic than he was managing a major Premier League team.
It is unclear where Rodgers could end up, but Talksport insider Alex Crook has named Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Fulham as their managers out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
