Fans are shocked as Haaland swore in a post-match interview All Football

Erling Haaland shocked fans by swearing in his post-match interview following Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Leicester.

Haaland, along with Savinho, got on the scoresheet as City secured a much-needed win.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Haaland said: ‘It’s good to win and not much to say. I don’t know what the difference was. I’m happy we won. It is important to look ahead.

‘S**t happens, that’s something that can happen.

Referring to the interviewer, Haaland said: ‘You swore before, so it doesn’t matter’.

‘Things happen, we have to keep going and stay positive and focus on the right things. It’s always a relief when you score and it’s an important goal to go 1-0 up.

‘They are playing well under the new coach. It’s New Years, so don’t think too much about football, I think this is the longest time in a long time we’ve had a rest.’

After winning the Premier League title four times in a row, City have suffered unexpected struggles this season.

Going into the match against Leicester, Pep Guardiola’s side had gone eight games in the Premier League without a win, with six of those defeats.

Although they are Leicester, City are in fifth place and find themselves 11 points behind Liverpool, who have played two games less.

Haaland, meanwhile, ended his run of four games without a goal, with his last strike coming in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on December 7.

Following Haaland’s comments, one user wrote on X: ‘Haaland always swears in interviews lol’.

Another wrote: ‘Haaland swearing at Sky’ along with a crying laughing emoji.

Additionally, another user wrote: Haaland thinks he’s tough enough to swear on TV’.

City will return to action on January 4 with a home game against West Ham.

Despite his own struggles at times this season, Haaland still has 14 goals back in 19 Premier League games overall.
