Ex-Barcelona star revealed as ’44m offer made’ as reason for ‘pause’ over Red Devils transfer



According to reports, former FC Barcelona star Veterin Roque has ‘decided his stance’ on whether to join Manchester United in January or next summer.

Now, a report by journalist Pete O’Rourke Football insider Roque’s ‘stance’ to move to Old Trafford has been revealed, with the attacker favoring the move for a reason.

Overick has argued that he is in favor of a move for Man Utd so that he can “prove a point to Barcelona”.

He explained: “Obviously, a disappointing spell at Barcelona will put him in question, whether he can do it in Europe.

“But, it seems that the player will be interested in returning to Europe to prove a point to Barcelona that he can do it in the biggest league in European football.”

Man Utd have also been linked with other potential signings, including AFC Bournemouth standout Antoine Seminu. They are said to be moving ‘fast’ to beat Liverpool in the race to land the winger.
