Erling Haaland has offered a rare glimpse into his life with girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen in a new film launched on Thursday.
Haaland, 25, and Johansen, 22, largely keep their private lives under wraps, but the Manchester City star has flung open the doors to their six-bedroom mansion in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, as part of the first video on his new YouTube channel.
The couple, who welcomed their first child in December, discussed how their relationship began and played youth football in one of the first parts of the film.
Haaland and Johansen met when both were at the academy in Bryne, Norway. ‘(She was) a good footballer,’ the City forward says in the 27-minute video, entitled: ‘Day in the Life of a pro footballer.’
He then goes on to compare Johansen to a Manchester United legend. ‘Ryan Giggs! Left wing, swinging them in.’
Johansen replies: ‘To be honest, I wasn’t the best with dribbling. I was more speed – a bit like him. I don’t think you are the best dribbler, but you have the speed!’

They also discuss their footballing careers as Johansen reveals that she initially liked one of his best friends
Haaland joined Bryne at the age of five and spent more than 10 years with the Norwegian side before later having spells at RB Salzburg, Dortmund and now City.
The couple, who have yet to publicly reveal their young son’s name, started dating when he was at Borussia Dortmund, with Isabel making frequent trips to visit him.
And in the film, Haaland offers an insight into how they got together. ‘She remembers many times that she’s seen me (when we were younger), but I don’t!’
Haaland then references his viral music video, which he rapped alongside his friends Erik Sandberg and Erik Bothheim – and was seen at the time by Johansen.
The trio performed under the name ‘Flow Kingz’, with Haaland rapping as he held BBQ utensils in his playhouse.
And Johansen reveals that she actually liked one of his friends before ‘changing her view after I saw you’. “I do think it’s fate, but you don’t,” she tells Haaland in the video.
Later in the video, the couple is seen cooking a dinner of tomahawk steaks – which the City striker bought from a local farm – with potatoes, a béarnaise sauce and a tomato and red onion salad.
Haaland jokes that he did not expect his partner’s béarnaise sauce to be as good as it was. ‘Better than I thought,’ he says. ‘Very good sauce!’

Johansen has been increasingly seen in the public eye during Haaland’s time at City, celebrating with him during their trophy successes.
Haaland and Johansen were pictured holidaying on a yacht in Ibiza in the summer, before attending fashion shows in Rome.
In an interview published in September, the Norwegian star was also asked what a romantic evening with Johansen looks like.
‘I cook,’ Haaland said. ‘This will probably sound a bit embarrassing to her, but she likes to play (games). So we play Minecraft together. We build houses and all that.
‘Or we go home to Bryne and order kebabs.’ Haaland has previously named kebabs as his favorite food – and revealed that he could even serve them at their wedding.
Haaland has made a sensational start to the new season, scoring 15 goals in 11 matches in all competitions.
City are three points behind leaders Arsenal ahead of their next Premier League match, a trip to Aston Villa on Sunday.
