Lookman has now gone to social media to confirm that he has asked for a long statement.
The 27 -year -old has remained two years since its current agreement at the Gewiss Stadium.
However, he claims that Atalanta has been in agreement that they accept a fair offer at the same price for Inter’s offer.
In a statement shared to X, Lookman wrote: “Over the past three years in Atalanta, I have completely given everything.
“Not just as a footballer but as a person. I always wore a shirt with pride and tried to represent this club and the city of Bergamo with heart, passion and sacrifice.
“I have come together with the hope of helping this special club growing and together, we have created memories that will stay with me forever.
“Winning in the Europa League and the shoulder standing with my teammates that night in Dublin celebrated with our fans was one of my most proud moments so far. It still gives me thinking about it.
“Atalanta, and especially its supporters, have become part of me.
“This place has been felt like a house from the moment of my arrival, and I have always tried to repay that love – even in the moments when things weren’t easy behind the scenes.”

“This is what makes it very difficult to write,” he said.
“In the past, countless clubs have come close to Atalanta, and I have always been loyal to you before.
“However, the club’s ownership and ownership of the club have agreed that the time is right now and the club was clear to me that if a fair offer arrived, they would allow me to move.
“Although it has now received a proposal to coordinate with what I think has been discussed, unfortunately the club is blocking the opportunity for reasons I don’t understand.
“As a result, and after months of broken promises and what I feel as a human being and as a professional footballer, unfortunately I feel like talking about what I believe is right and I feel enough.
“I can confirm that I have now submitted a formal transfer request.”

Lookman message to fans
“Even during the very difficult moments I have endured, many of them have been private and confidential, I have always tried to put the club, fans and team first, and I hope it doesn’t work, but unfortunately there is little choice now,” he said.
“To the fans – the heartbeat of this club – I want to say this: I’m really sorry to have come to this conclusion.
“I hope you can understand this incredibly difficult situation. It’s just about standing for what I believe is just and right.
“The support you have always given me has been incredible, and the link we have created together, I hope to work with the club to find a friendly solution for all parties as soon as possible. With love and appreciation, Adeemola.”
Nigeria International joined Atalanta in 2022 with a five -year agreement.
He has scored 52 goals since then and has scored 25 assists in 118 games in all matches.
