Kick it: Record Record reports with giving gifts, transphobia, and abuse of faith during the 2024-25 times


Anti-discrimination charity says it receives reports of discrimination at the time of 2024-25 times with a sexual increase, transphobia and transphobia abuse and abuse of transphobia.

Also kick it as well as the end-of-season report statistics in the past time:

  • There are 621 online abuse reports submitted – a 5% increase last year – with 268 related racism.

  • There are 18 Sexist Chanting reports received for 2024-25, which are almost equal to the total of the past four periods together.

  • Weed footballs cost for 325 reports – from 303 to 2023-24.

  • Homophobic abuse has fallen small, from 162 to 139 reports.

  • Disuse of disability also has a significant increase, with reports of 45% at all levels of the game from 51 to 76.

This chief executive Samuel Okafor said “Discrimination remains more attached to the game”, and the youth football abuse “should be a youth call”.

Okafor acknowledged with a “clear transition” to people who “calls the sexist behavior”, but he wants to see more action to deal with online abuse.

“It is clear that online platforms have fallen. The number of abuse remains high, and often responsible faces with no consequences,” as Okafor.

“Fans make their share by speaking. Now to football authorities, tech companies and government to show that they listen, and act.”
