Expected? After the loss of playing a Season Notts feel that they should be automatically enhanced, this is all the change in Meadow Lane.
A new head coach at Martin Paterson, and a new ‘technical board’ run by the club to offer stats and data at a time.
Will it work? If to do this, I think notts can be a player in the top again. If it’s not, fans can turn and the maggies can get rid of the middle of the table.
Strength? Things better improve in defensive weather, going from one side with the worst goals drives the recording of previous campaign, in one of the best last time.
The foundations are relatively strong, and even when Alex Bass is lost – some of the best goalkeepers in the League last time – the signing of the Kelle Roos as his replacement is as his replacement. They add Grit to the Midfifield at Ollie Norburn and Tom Iorparante, and has a vital pre-season fitness level in pre-season, so they can be hard to beat.
Weaknesses? Notts McGldrick disappeared in the summer, who was offered a new contract, mostly reported as a cut of salary, which he rejected a league and joined Barnley.
There is still a constant assumption that surrounds Alimana Jatta, and if his future is in Meadow Dane.
Mai Traore signed in January, but the land was not hit, and Matty Dennis came from Carlisle promised, but notts had no official number in their squad.
Difference-maker? Jodi Jones. Keep him fit and he is very simple for the level. Throughout the time, he was played as a number 10, instead of the wing-back, so hopefully there is an additional influence on games and scoring an easy goals.
