Newcastle Strike Callum Wilson says “All good things ended” after confirmation he leaves the club.
The former contract in England International has expired last week and he dismisses the St James’ Park after fail to agree to a new deal.
Wilson scored 49 goals of 130 appearances for Newcastle, thanked 33-year-olds to play a “great part of our success in recent years”.
“With all your lecties, it’s time to say goodbye after an unbelievable few years in toon,” Wilson said in a statement.
“Thank you for all. We stand firm in high and some lows to help with the club experience of new height.”
Understands a number of leading league clubs showing the interests of Wilson, while he also has the option of the main soccer in the league.
Wilson includes Newcastle from Bournemouth for about £ 20m in 2020 and spent an injury hit five years in Tyneside.
He struggles with back and hamstring injuryes last time, and only manages 18 views of the Premier League.
“I am proud to wear the iconic number 9 clothing and to add a little history,” Wilson added.
“Scoring at the end of Gallowgate as special special as they say.
“All good things ended, but no doubt Newcastle United always had a place to me and my families.”
