Sheffield Wednesday: Players call for ‘Situation to account’

In a statement seen at BBC Radio Sheffield, players said: “As published public, club staff groups at salaries.

“It’s an anxious time for us as players but, while we’re always in the spotlight, we just don’t involve all our clubs affected.

“Players and staff today feel true, practical effects on their professional and personal life and we are very concerned with the lack of clarity about what happens.

“The decision taken by players to be taken from Burnley-friendly planned is not laid out or no consideration.

“We know more concern that this is the cause of supporters but trust with real understanding of the difficult position we have entered.

“We want to reassure fans who do not, and no, who are ‘down to the tools’ of any of the land training, the manager of each other, the manager and staff.

“However, we, like you, want our focus to be perfect with what happens to the pitch and the new season.

“It really proves to be challenging and we explain to the club we want this condition to answer as soon as possible decisions that come in future as a club.”
