“I think the challenge is from the summer, now heading here, where we lost a lot of firepower, a lot of team goals,” he added.

“And there’s no way you’re going to go to a race and hand over the keys to a Honda Civic and say, ‘I want you to drive like a Ferrari’. It’s not going to happen.”

He forced them to find him to find “solutions” to their behavioral issues, through changes in personnel or formation.

“Until there are changes, I have to find solutions,” Rodger said.

“Because I said, goals, speed, everything came out of the team and we have to find a way to be better.

“We had opportunities to do what we needed to do. It didn’t happen, so now we find ways, if it’s 3-4-2, if it’s 3-4-2.
