Porto’s 2004 Champions League captain Jorge died at the age of 53.
Costa, for the symbolic team of Jose Mourinho, died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday while at the Porto training center.

Under the pseudonym “Beast”, the former midfielder spent 15 years during his career at the club.
He also took 50 hats for Portugal alongside more than 250 games for Portuguese giants.
Costa Captain Porto was currently Mourinho who won the Champions League in 2004.
The defender won the award in Germany while destroying one of the most historic European masterpieces.
He also played in the Premier League for Charlton Vetera between 2001 and 2002 and played 24 times in the UK.
A tribute to Costa begins to flow, so that the Portuguese League released a statement Tuesday afternoon.
They wrote: “The Portuguese League is expressing its deep sadness for Jorge Costa, FC Porto’s historic captain and prominent figure in national football.
“Jorge Costa” is known as “beast” for sacrifice, leadership and spirit of struggle, a symbol of generation and reference on earth and outside of the earth.
“At this moment of sadness, the Portuguese League condemns their family, friends, FC porto and all those who shared his passion for football.
“Rest in peace.”

“The passage of Jorge Costa was surprised by all of us,” said Portugal’s President of the Portuguese League.
“I am very sorry for one of the most symbolic football figures and Porto FC.
“His passion, leadership, and sacrifice to play an eternal sign.
“I have lost a friend and person I have had a sincere and professional dignity for him.
“At this time of sadness, we offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends and the entire Porto FC structure.”
