Pulong Villa warns fans of political messaging in Maccabi Tel Aviv match

“It is clear, that various groups seek to harm the Maccabi Tel Aviv Fanbase … and exploit isolated incidents for their own social and political ends.”

A spokesman for the UK government said it was “deeply saddened”, adding that it was “unacceptable” that the match was stirred by people who seek to divide us”.

Independent MP Ayoub Khan, whose Birmingham Perry Barry Constituency is home to Villa Park, will add to the Social Starmer’s apology to West Midlands Police officers.

He added that by reducing the tickets, the Israel club “is more responsible than those who want to meet this matter”.
