Rangers Manager Update: Danny Rohl has been appointed head coach

Rangers Chairman Andrew Cavenaghan acknowledged the trying time for the club – where the board was criticized by the fans for admitting the search for a manager and said that finally “.

“Danny’s experience at the elite level, in high-pressure environments, makes him a strong fit for what we expect here,” Cavenahh said.

“We know the past months have been challenging, but our focus has always been on getting the right person, who is ready to take over this football club and the demands that come with it.

“Danny and I have been inspired by his vision, his attitude, and his understanding of what the Rangers believe he can do to help drive pride, momentum, and ultimately success.”

Rohl, who left on Wednesday by mutual consent in the summer, was twice hit by the revolt at the launch of the South Yorkshire Club.

He finished 12th in the championship in his one full season in charge – an impressive feat given Wednesday’s financial struggles.

Ranger Vice-Chairman Parahe Paratehan said the club was ahead of “a thorough process to make sure we introduced the right person” and praised Rohl’s “Real Intelligence and hunger”.

Former Southampton boss Boss Martin is holding Rangers Eight in the league, nine points behind champions Celtic and 11 points ahead of the Hearts owners.

They are now eight points behind Celtic and 13 behind Hearts.

Rangers also failed to qualify for the Champions League under Martin and lost two of their Europa League games.

Rohl assured ROHL fans that they are ready to accept the expectations of fans who have witnessed Celtic’s dominance – 12 titles won in 13 years – in recent seasons.

“The expectations are high and I love this challenge because I set high standards for myself and the team as well,” he said.

“Rangers is built on a tradition of hard work, unity and success. That’s exactly what you get from me and what I want my team to represent to you all.

“I’m looking forward to meeting the squad and getting to work ahead of Thursday’s game at Brann.”
