England v Serbia: Jude Bellingham Set to start on bench, with Morgan Rogers in number 10 role

Jude Bellingham is in line to start on the bench for the World Cup qualifier against Serbia on Thursday, with Morgan Rogers set to play in the number 10 role.

Nicchester City’s Nico O’Reilly is set for his senior International Debut while Marcus Rashford is preparing for an attacking spot.

Bellingham, 22, has missed the past four internationals – partly due to a shoulder injury – but has been recalled to the squad for Serbia and Albania, with England qualifying for next summer’s tournament.

England Manager Tochel told the BBC on Wednesday that Assila Vil Vil Villa Midfielder Rogers is carrying a slight Hamstring issue and will require a late fitness assessment.

Rogers is above deputizing Real Madrid’s Bellingam and Tuchel faces a clear selection problem ahead of next year’s World Cup.

O’Reilly, 20, is set to make his full England debut at left back after an impressive start to the season at City.

Reece James, Ezri Knonsa and John Stones are expected to feature in defence.

Barcelona forward Rashford is set to replace the injured Anthony Gordon in attack.

Decenen Rice and Elliott Anderson are likely to continue in the midfield alongside Rogers while Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane should get the nod in attack.

Jordan Pickford should continue in his goal area.
