Kjetil Knutsen: Why the Bodo/Glart Miracle Worker could appeal to Celtic

While the replacement parkla is looking for a replacement for Postecoglou in the summer of 2023, former Celtic Strike Brattbakk says that fellow Knutsen has “all the qualifications to be a success” in Glasgow.

His stock has risen in the two years since, with links to the Premier league becoming more frequent.

Some have questioned why Knutsen, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the current glimt campaign, will take the next step.

“It depends on the conditions that he operates under, and he is not in a hurry to leave,” added Brattbakk in 2023.

How Knutsen will handle a jump at a club with greater expectations and at length is a question that comes with a potential move to Parkhead.

He is a man used to speculation and was once again asked about his future at the weekend with Celtic’s reported interest.

“Nothing in life is certain,” he replied, outside. “I’m here now and I’m happy. There’s no hope of answering other clubs.

“I answered as I always do – it must be something more exciting than glimt.”

After the end of their league campaign later this month, Glart have four more Champions League fixtures against Juvesus, Manletter City and Atletico Madrid to look forward to in the winter.

That’s definitely gratifying. Whether a potential move to Glasgow will appeal remains to be seen.
