Winger Mikey Moore arrived on loan from Hottenham Hotspur on Friday, which strengthened a place in Martin’s squad needed.
Kieran Dowell began two widths of feet against Panathinaikos, struggling to make a meaningful effect since signing from Norwich City in 2023.
Moore, 17, was impressed with Tottenham in Europe last time and urged to move to the Glasgow by former spurs and rangers who spurred the defetofer.
Martin has no doubt that Moore can make a positive effect despite his gentle age.
“I think it’s a good sign,” said the former defense of Scotland. “Good for us, good for spurs and good for Mikey.
“Maybe he adds to us as a big choice in the front line. She is a super talent and we’re eager to have her.
“If you’re good, you’re old and sure I think he’s good to help us win the games.
“I say we need people desperate to come here and play football and he is.”
Defendants Nasser Djiga and Max Aarons and Midfielder Joe Rothwell have begun to start Martin’s team, while Winger Djeidi Gassama scored as a replacement in European matches.
Midfielder attack Thelo Aasgaard is expected to play a prominent paper after signing from Luton City, with administrator Emmanuel Fernandez and Midlager Lyall Cameron, from Peterborough.
However, Martin still expected further movement of the transit market.
“I think we need more players, sure,” he said. “We need to strengthen a couple of important places.
“Mikey is a lot of help because he gave us something we don’t have. She gives us an option and real flexibility in the upper line.
“I still think there are players to leave and have players to join.
“We should be ready and open for that change because I think this club requires it and now we need to be patient in time to make sure we get the righteous.”
