While the count remains a place for debate for now, FAP-Tap supports a change in the var protocol that will allow a change of a second yellow card.
It is not possible to check potential second yellow cards due to the number of potential incidents and delays.
Over the past two Premier League seasons, the Key Dirch Incident (KMI) panel ruled that 17 players were wrongly sent off for two bookings.
The proposal will now await AfAs’ annual Business meeting on 20 January for further discussion, before its likely approval at the annual meeting in Cardiff on 28 February.
