Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott says he doesn’t want to “waste years” in his career and this summer weighs the club.

Overall, Elliott was playing 28 games in all competitions, which included six starts as he took five goals and three assists in 822 minutes of action.

“I have to meditate. I have to see if I’m content to do what I do and how I can do as a player because that’s the most important thing.
“I just want to improve and be the best possible version of myself. If that’s going to be somewhere, then it’s a decision I have to do and I have to see what happens.
“Nothing makes me want to leave. I love the club, I like fans, I also support it. But most importantly it is for my career.”
