Rangers: Is it time for Clement? Or is the fan’s patience required? Your views

Mervyn: We have had a terrible league campaign so far. Time to change.

Anon: They are horrible. I think they will finish third in the league.

Steve: Clement must go, the club may not be able to pay him financially, but the current state of affairs cannot continue. Honestly believe the club would be better off with a manager in place than Clement. All well and good getting up for European nights and Old Firm games, but three wins away from 11 is simply unacceptable.

Anon: Unfortunately this situation was brought to the club by not removing the manager from his position a year ago, which could have avoided a whole series of embarrassing seasons since then. The manager needs to go now because he and the club are a laughing stock.

William: The manager has to go. There is something wrong with Rangers, how can they play Celtic off the park but not beat mid-table teams. The manager and players must take responsibility for this.

Steve: Poor, poor and really poor. This team is shocking and I believe it is time for Clement to go. The players are just going against Celtic because that puts them in the shop window then usually for every other game and that’s in management.

Will: Wrong manager from the start. He doesn’t understand the Scottish game at all.

Ian: This is unsustainable, we are a disgrace, Clement is your time.

Alex: I’m not a fan of constantly changing managers because you don’t build consistency. I want to give Clement time, but he has time now and I don’t see gradual progress. We don’t learn from our mistakes. I lost faith in Clement. He can’t get past the players anymore. He runs in hope. Change is needed, but who?

Gareth: He had to go. It should have been long gone. He has no idea how to beat a low block, which 10 teams in this league use against us. He has spent £20m since his arrival, no small sum and certainly enough to contend with at this stage for a season.

James: How come Clement is still the manager because I don’t know. His results were unacceptable. His excuses are unacceptable. His team selection is unacceptable. I know there are more problems with the club than the manager but there has to come a point where we say this management appointment is no longer working.

Russel: Why did Rangers keep Clement in charge when they fired previous managers with better records? The club’s hierarchy must change in this transfer window before the club goes bust.
