Urias Rennie, the first black referee referee, died aged 65.
Rennie explains over 300 games between 1997 and 2008, including 175 matches in the Premier League.

Rennie recently revealed that he learned to walk again after a rare condition left him paralyzed from the waist to the waist.
Born in Jamaica, he moved to Sheffield while a child and grew up in the city area of the city.
He started again at local football in 1979 before making history in 1997 when he watched the top-flight match between Derby County and Wimbledon.

Rennie was a Serve-in-March magistrate since 1996 and campaigned with issues including similarity and involvement of sport, mental health and facing health.
He has a master’s degree in the Business Administration and Law and, November 2023, given a noble doctor by Sheffield Halalam University for his shoffied communities and his work in the Seath Yorkshire communities.
In May, Rennie was installed as a new university chancellor.
