Ancelotti on signing Alexander-Arnold: we want to wait and see

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the club’s winter transfer plans.

Los Blancos have an injury crisis in defence, which has derailed their season so far.

Ancelotti Is asked if they are targeting Liverpool Right back Trent Alexander-Arnold This month or as a free agent in the summer.

Ancelotti said at a press conference on Thursday: “It is difficult for me to talk about it in this context, but we will have to wait and see.

“We are focused on all the games in January and the game tomorrow (against Valencia) and I have nothing more to say. It is not sensible for me to talk about the market right now.

“I will not talk about it because now, here, is not the place to talk about it.

“We will see what will happen but I have a great squad. We have injuries and problems with that but we are also able to overcome them.”
