The NBA suffers to some extent suffer from a torn Achilles epidemic, at least if it goes through the 2024-25 season.
It seems that every round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs, it appears to be another star.

Players who suffered Achilles injured in the 2024-25 NBA season
James Weissman – Indiana Pokrus
Isaiah Jackson – Indiana Pokore
Dejount Murray – New Orleans Pelicans
Drew Smith – Miami Heat
Damian Lillard – Milwaukee Box
Jason Tatum – Boston Celtix
Tyrese Haliburton – Indiana Pacers
The first 9 times were the entire star of Damian Lillared.
Then the star was the right to vote for Boston Celtix Jason Tatum.
Then, the third time (unlikely UN), fans had to watch Tyrese Haliburton in their biggest professional game and season – NBA 7 Finals.
All three injuries for the relevant franchises had the opportunity to reach the next round.
In the case of Haliburton, his team spent Indiana Pacers for the first time in the history of Pacers as the Larry Obrine championship, as they fell to Oklahoma City.
The fact that all three players do not get the number 0 in their shirts made conspiracy theorists declare their words.
But the question of why this injury has become very common in the past few seasons is something that should be asked and thoroughly examined.
Adam Silver, the NBA Commissioner, with seven injured players who suffered an injury only last season, announced that the league has already raised a specialist delegation to evaluate the main cause.
Some believe that this is a heavy job for the players.
Playing 82 games in a seven-month period can certainly have its side effects, although silver states that due to the most Achilles’ injury that has taken place over the past decade, before the All-Star was interrupted.

However, Oklahoma City City Thunder GM Western – whose team recently won the NBA Championships – seems to challenge silver statements when it was insulting that people do not believe that injuries and workloads are related.
“I think all we have to do is away from the defensive nature of trying to persuade people, players and teams that have no connection between repeatedly and injuries,” Hestern said.
“I think this is – we are on a level like a border, almost offensive.”
The interesting thing is that the views of some players believe that the opposite is quite true.
Paul George, given the shocking acceptance of San Antonio Spores, the guardian of Stepon Castle, who had barely practiced in his new season, told Paul Pierce to the legend of Celtics that he felt that players should practice more as a preventive measure for these really serious injuries.
The Philadelphia 76rs, the only player left in the league in the 2010 draft class, said in Podcast P with Paul George: “This is a exercise. I need to practice the coach like us more.”
“When I got into the league, I realized what it was doing this season. Yes it was hard on training days. Yes it was hard, it was a mill, but it was easy when we were in the games.”
Pierce agreed and provided insights that if he only chooses basketball and play a game without practicing, he would probably put his body in a position to “press something”.
Pierce replied, “You have to be at a certain level and have a shape.”
“Think about it. You don’t practice for two days and just go to one game 110.
“Your cold body, like the way you practice every day, is like it helps your situation for the game.
“If I just get up here and just go the ring, I push something.”
Obviously, there is a rise in players who have some of the most devastating injuries that a player can tolerate basketball.
