Mano UTD midfielder Mano is a target for Chelsea after insiders confirmed talks



Kobi Minno’s name is reportedly coming up again at Chelsea as an insider has confirmed that talks have taken place over a summer move.

Manchester United Place five central midfielders in two midfield roles in their 3-4-2-1 system, and they usually use the same two men. Bruno Fernandes has played the most of any of these options, with Casemiro a close second.

Menu With 228, he has played the fewest minutes of any of the midfield options at United, and reports suggest he wants to leave in January, trying to get out in the summer after being told he is staying.

There are several options on his tail, and Chelsea is the most interesting.

Blues insider Simon Phillips has revealed that Menno’s name is being developed at Stamford Bridge, after talks with his agent in the summer.

He suggests a midfield signing is on the agenda from Enzo Marisca. The likes of Cole Palmer, Dario Esgogo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia have struggled with injury problems this season.

As a result, adding more depth to the midfield will be useful as Chelsea look to retain third place in the Premier League.

Although Lavia’s injury could see him return within a month, the Blues are not entirely certain, with reports that he will be out for ‘at least’ this term.

If they need cover in midfield, then a hungry Menu who will surely find it difficult at United and looking to push his case for inclusion in England’s World Cup squad.

Whether United will allow Menu to join Chelsea The pair are currently competing in the same region, with the third-placed Blues just two points ahead of seventh-placed United.

Although Mino isn’t getting much game time at Old Trafford at the moment, the Red Devils won’t want to strengthen a direct rival, and with the midfielder not set to leave in the summer, it’s unlikely he’ll be allowed to leave just yet.

Menu will be eager to change things, though, having started just one game all season – against Grimsby in the League Cup – while playing the most in a single Premier League game this term at 45 minutes.
