Tottenham have eyed two strikers from the same Euro giant and have a clear choice

Tottenham are reportedly ‘watching’ Juventus strikers Dušan Vilhović and Jonathan David, and the only right choice for a net goalscorer.

Spurs have found the net more often than almost every side this season. Only three trios have scored more than his 19 total.

But no one stood out in a big way, with Richarlison top scorer on four goals, and centre-back Mickey van de Ven on the next three.

were Tottenham For the elite goal scorers in their ranks, they could be more than fifth. They realize that they may have signed it in Randall Kulu Mani, but the slave now breaks his jaw, after which they break his jaw as well.

As a result, Football insider Spurs are reportedly eyeing the Juventus striker duo Vlahoch And David as a possible replacement.

Valladolid, out of contract in the summer, is an interesting case, still said to have demanded around £20m for his services in January.

It’s just as well that, with his contract due to expire, he could remain with the Serie A side, as CEO Damian Comolli has said:

“We have reached an agreement with Dusan Vlahovi to go through this season and talk about it at the end of the season. There is a strict agreement from last summer.”

Judging by the contract and price from this opportunity, Spurs need a pure goalscorer to close the margin between themselves and the elite sides, and there is a clear choice between the pair.

Both are 25 years old and both have 100 goals to their name in club football but not more than 150. In their careers, their stats are similar, but there is a better selection this term.

In total, Vlahovic has six goals in 15 games compared to David’s one in 14. Comparing them fbref Shows how the Serbia international has also outperformed his team-mate.

In Serie A, Vlahovic has a much higher XG – David’s 3.5 to 1.3, he’s taken significantly more shots – 25 to 11 – and he’s had nine shots on target to David’s four.

Vlahovic actually completed 76 fewer passes than 93 – and a worst percentage of 68.5 compared to 78.2.

But he gets more touches off the ball and more opposition in the penalty area – five to David’s zero.

Vlahovic also has another shot-making action to her name and touches the ball more often than her teammate.

Tottenham have plenty of creative sparks, with Mohamed Kadus as their main man, and James Maddison and Dejan Kolościewski are also excellent creators in the mix – as are Xavi Simmons and Lukas Berghol.

As such, Tottenham know it’s a goalscorer they need more than anything, and while Vlahovic may not be the most goal-scoring attacker, he finds himself in good areas, shoots often and knows how to put the ball in the net.

If the choice is between him and David, Vlahoch needs a man.
