Nothingham Forest: New Boss Sean Dyche believes Premier League style doesn’t matter

“I’ve seen enough fashionistas come and go in this division,” said New Nottingham Forest Manager Sean Deta Deta. “You have to win games, it’s as simple as that.”

The 54-year-old may not class himself as a Football Fashionista but as coaches who add weight to set-pieces and ‘take longer’ he may find himself in vogue.

Annge Postecoglou lasted only 39 days in the forest after being brought to win trophies and play more strongly, taking care of Nuno Esko on 9 September.

Missed six and drawn two of his eight games in charge as the squad struggled to adapt quickly to the new manager’s demands.

After walking up the stairs of the Trent Club museum at the end of the third season manager of Forest, he outlined his philosophy and style, which was criticized by Burnley and Everton.

“I did a podcast with Tony Pulis and Mick McCarthy, Tony has now been brought in for a long time before he takes over (as STOGED manager) until the summer of 2027.

“This is the fashion of football, it changes all the time and I don’t hold back one way or the other but the little I want.

“Forest fans have accepted a different way of working than the history of this club last season which was very successful.

“The players know it. I get a lot of feedback from the players. They are very proud of what they did last season. That’s not a problem for me because I agree with me.

“Long ball, short ball? You still have to play effective football. That never goes out of style.”
