Cesc Fàbregas, 38 years old, has become a viral phenomenon for his speech to Como players.
The Catalan is considered by many as the next big star in the world of trainers and orchestrated an impressive 2-0 victory over Juventus in Serie A on Sunday.
In the summer, he was in contact with several high-level positions, among them the coach in Turin, but he decided to stay in Como to move forward with the project after the club spent 100 million pounds in the transfer market.
And it seems that his faith has been rewarded, as players have completely accepted his methods.
On the field, after Sunday’s victory, Fábregas was seen giving an inspiring talk to the group in a huddle, which was published on the club’s social networks.
“I have one word, only one,” said Fabregas. ‘I am very proud of you. From there you can see football very easily, but what you did was very difficult.’

‘We run. 1 minute, 20 minutes, 10 minutes, I don’t care. You need that mentality to win in this football club, in this team. Thank you very much, let’s continue.’
The players roared with joy after the match, and their victory has lifted them to sixth place in the table, just four points behind the leader.
Fábregas also demonstrated that he does not want to face his rival Igor Tudor in public.
Before the game, the Juventus coach had said: ‘As it is a small and fake team, they have spent a lot and in an interesting way. All the players have been chosen by the coach, which is rare and impressive.’
‘Tudor is at the helm of a great club with an important history. “He said that I’m taking all the players, but maybe no one explained things to him well,” Fábregas replied.
‘He is a great coach and works with great players. Tudor must always win with Juventus, while we have a different reality!’
Juventus is tied on points with Como and has only won one of their five previous league games.
Fábregas reinforced the squad with players of the stature of Álvaro Morata and Jesús Rodríguez in summer, taking advantage of his contacts and his knowledge of Spanish football.
Fàbregas has taken Como to the sixth position in Serie A, beating Juventus
Morata still hasn’t signed with his new club in eight parties, but the technician defended his striker.
‘A striker is judged by his goals, but not me. He has to score goals for himself, but not for me. “It has shown exactly why we brought him to Como,” explained Fabregas.
If he is able to maintain his upward trajectory and establish himself in the Italian elite, he relies on the services of Fábregas.
But there is no doubt that the ex-centrocampista from Chelsea and FC Barcelona will have offers to go to more historic clubs that compete for titles in the future.
