Osick could face Jake Powell at the beginning of 2026 in his next battle.
Following the brutal victory of USYK against Daniel Dubois on July 19, Paul arrived in Rings to meet Ukrainian to spark most of the rumors of the couple’s fight.

USYK team manager Daniel Lapin had earlier announced that the two fighters have been confirmed to discuss their first MMA games against each other.
Paul himself said the period could happen since the beginning of 2026, but it was believed that he could be behind traditional boxing opponents.
But Lapin has now revealed that Paul may be the next man who fights the heavyweight king, away from the boxing ring and in the cage.
Speaking to Plejmo, he explained: “The team is currently working on the next fight. We are looking for a few options and focus on those who feel both in interest and audience and audience.
“Almost every fighter has called Jake Powell,” he said.
“We don’t talk about the boxing race with Usyk Usyk,” he said.
“This could become a huge show with a huge global audience,” he said. “The negotiations are underway and if everything is over, the struggle may happen early next year.”
