I am the legendary NFL Hall of Famer that hammered 41 Coors lights and "I don't remember much"

The draft day provides an unforgettable memory for many NFL stars.

However, Lawrence Taylor, the legendary offensive line, did a few different things.

In 1981, Taylor came out of the university as an ACC player of the year and an unanimous American who had regulated numerous defensive records with North Carolina.

In a survey of NFL GMs taken before the draft, 26 out of 28 said they would take Taylor if they had the first choice.

One of the two General Motors who said they would not take him was Boom Phillips, who was recently hired as a coach and General Motors by New Orleans Saints.

As the fate will have, the sacreds were also the team that had the first choice in the draft.

On the draft day, Phillips made his decision to draft Taylor, and instead of New Orleans, instead of the first choice, Hizman’s Hayzman Award -winning chosen with the first choice.

“I don’t remember much, I had 41 Coors lights that day,” Taylor said of the red carpet outside the 2010 draft.

“Certainly don’t remember what happened.”

Taylor, who became the Super Bowl’s hero twice, added that he, like all other people, watched the draft out of the house.

These days, the landscape is usually besieged by family and friends, but the population of the attack was slightly different in 1981.

While the draft of the night was a little vague for Taylor, he continued to be a celebrity hall in NFL.

He played 13 seasons with the giants and is worldly recognized as the greatest defensive player of all time – some even confirm him as the best football player ever.

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Taylor was an out -of -home attacking force and was credited to changing defense game plans and rush plans, as well as offensive line blockers and offensive formats.

In his first season, he won his first game in the NFL and AP NFL defense player and produced two -digit bags each season from 1984 to 1990.

The defense of the giants, nicknamed “The Big Blue Coor”, led New York to win the Super Bowl XXI and XXV.

Taylor was introduced as the MVP league because of his performance in the 1986 season – he and Alan Page (1971) are the only defensive players in the history of the league to win the award.

He even played at Wrestlemania XI’s main event.

While his NFL profession is a legend, Taylor has lived a controversial lifestyle, both on earth and outside of the earth.

He admitted that he used drugs, including cocaine at the beginning of the second year in the NFL, and was suspended for 30 days in 1988 by the league due to lack of drug testing.

Taylor’s drug abuse was intensified after retirement and he was in prison three times for trying to get drugs.

From 1998 to 2009, he claims to have had a vigilant and drug -free life and has since served as colorful commentators in post -retirement sports competitions as well as professional follow -up.

Recently, Taylor joined Donald Trump because the president signed an executive order that he will expand in his council on sports, fitness and nutrition, including by reviving the presidential readiness in public schools.

Taylor appears to be caught by the guard when he was asked to speak at the Trump President’s event – but said he “here is for service”.

LT is preparing as a Golf star, Brian Dechambeau and Harrison Batker, Kansas City, as America to host the 2025 Ryder Cup, the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
