Coach Gronta Davis, Kenny Ellis, rejected rumors that his fighter was retired.
Last week, rumors sprayed on social media that Davis told close friends that he was “fed” with boxing and plans to hang his gloves.

However, this was quickly by Ellis, who went to social media to answer: “According to the usual fake news”.
Retirement appeared in the midst of Davis’s recent arrest for the attack on the former girlfriend and the mother of his two children.
Davis was arrested earlier this month in South Florida, but released on bail for $ 10,000 (£ 7,400) and a court hearing was held on August 12.
A few days later, reports were released that Davis’s upcoming return game with Lamont Roach was under pressure for the third time.
The initial plan was to take place on June 21 at the T-Mobile Arena, but the top boxing champions (PBC) delayed the fight until August 16 before it began.
According to Ring Magazine, organizers have now changed their attention to August 23 or August 30 in the city of Sin.
Meanwhile, Roach came out and stated that he didn’t think the full sequence would be stopped.
When they first met in March, Davis was held by heavy underdog to a controversial majority draw.
In the ninth round, Roach was mistakenly denied the elimination that could give him victory and the lightweight WBA title.
He sent Davis a pocket to one knee, and while the referee Steve Willis initially managed the count, when he found that the touch had made some debris reached the “tank” eye, it quickly broke it.

Team Roach went to the New York State Athletics Commission (Nysac).
But the result was confirmed because the commission announced that the referee’s call was not “decisive” because there were three complete rounds after the incident.
However, Nysac admitted that Ellis had made a mistake.
With the dust resolution, it was found that the draw between Jake Powell and Davis, which was in November, had disappeared.
Paul has been besieged by the cross -over -weight clash with Anthony Joshua’s heavyweight champion twice.
Nakiza Bidyan, the manager of Paul, claims that the struggle is for the first quarter of 2026 in which the Wembley Stadium has been identified as a possible place.
