The 26 -year -old, who rejected Liverpool 12 months ago, has now placed the pen on a £ 55m switch to north London.
“This is a big moment in my career. This is the move I was looking for and I wanted to do,” the 26 -year -old told the club’s website.
“As soon as you stepped here, you realized how big the club and the team are,” he said.
“I set up my views to Arsenal because their style of play is right for me,” he said.
“They have recently shown their potential and the best have yet come to fruition.”
Arsenal’s negotiations for signing Zubimandi were currently in an advanced phase in January.
Michael Artta has been looking for the real Social Star for more than a year and had a request to bring him to the club in January.
“Martin is a player who comes to our team with high quality and intelligence,” he added.
“The standard he has been constantly implemented for the club and the country over the past few seasons is precisely why we are very excited to have him. We all welcome Martin and his family to the club.”

Arsenal has confirmed that Zubimendi will wear the number 36 shirt, his first Susanidad shirt when you enter the team as a young man.
In recent years, he has also not donated shirts No. 3 and No. 4, the latter currently occupied by Ben White.
But despite the number three shirt, following the departure of Kieran Tierney, Zubimendi decided to re -unite at No. 36.
It was Tommy Stafford, which Arsenal revealed in May in the first team’s dressing room.
The goalkeeper joined Ajax under the age of 18 last July and was introduced to Brighton’s 1-1 Premier League in a few weeks following Aaron Ramsale’s departure to Southampton.
He made his first first team in the Carabao Cup in October and retained a clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Preston North End.
