Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed an update on Marcus Rashford after it was confirmed he will miss Manchester United’s game at Liverpool.
last month, Rashford Announced he is “ready” to leave the Premier League giants. This followed Ruben Amorim’s decision to leave out his squad for the Manchester derby against Man City on 15 December.
The England international missed four matches before returning Man Utd’The team lost 2-0 against Newcastle United on Monday night.
Head coach Amorim has since announced that Rashford will miss this weekend’s match against Liverpool at Anfield and Romano has confirmed it is “because he is ill”.
Romano also claimed Rashford “could still leave the club” with teams “interested” in signing him this month.
“Rashford will not be in the squad to face Liverpool because he is ill. He is not able to travel and play. But the situation between Man Utd and the player is still not resolved,” said Romano.

“The relationship between Amorim and Rashford is not that easy on performances in training and things like that. So he could still leave the club.
Marcus Rashford, to date, is not interested in considering options from Saudi. But let’s see what happens in the next weeks.
“He believes European football is the best stage for him, despite some interest from the Saudis. There are clubs interested in the possibility, but he is not opening the door to that option.
While Rashford has rejected interest from the Saudi Pro League, journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that “MLS is hungry for a forward” as Seattle Sounders “asked” about signing him.
“There is some suggestion that MLS has an appetite for Rashford. MLS deals are sometimes financed centrally with support from MLS through an Apple streaming partner, as with Lionel Messi. ” said Jacobs.

“Rashford doesn’t fall into that category but he might be able to get a package if MLS is interested, provided there is central support.
“I’ve been told the club that has made an inquiry, although nothing particularly advanced at this point, is Seattle. They’ve had internal discussions.
“The reason it’s Seattle is because they’re the representatives of the Club World Cup, which appeals to everyone they want to sign, and besides, they have at least €50-60 million to enter. Club World Cup is likely to meet.
“So an MLS club can approach World Cup representatives Seattle and Inter Miami and tell them they can afford to pay for these stars. So the budget can’t be an issue.
Jacobs also poured cold water on the move, though. He added: “I’m not so sure he would want to go there.
“We shouldn’t blow up the MLS links too much. At this stage, Seattle have not approached the Rashford camp or Manchester United.
“It’s an internal debate that if they choose to move, you’d expect to move in January rather than summer because obviously, the MLS calendar means January is almost like summer, in that sense. That you are lining up the main stars to start this season.”
