Liverpool set ‘exit price’ for unwanted sale after PL rivals ‘rejected’ £15m bid

Liverpool have ‘set their price’ for youngster Ben Duk amid interest from two Premier League rivals, according to reports.

Liverpool Scottish champions Celtic paid around £600,000 to sign Dovac in 2022 and the 19-year-old is regarded as one of their most talented youngsters.

The winger has already made ten appearances for Liverpool in all competitions and is linked with Scotland’s senior squad until the end of 2024.

In the summer, Doak was sent out on loan to Championship outfit Middlesbrough and shone for Michael Carrick’s side, scoring two goals and providing five assists in 20 appearances.

The youngster’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed as bids from Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town were rejected by Liverpool this month.

A report from Athletic Revealed:

Ipswich Town had a £16 million bid for Ben Doak rejected by Liverpool.

‘Liverpool’s latest rejection comes after Crystal Palace rejected a £15m bid for the Scotland forward earlier on Friday.

‘Liverpool are delighted with Dovac’s progress at the Riverside Stadium, where he is set to stay until the end of the season, and their preference is to see out the 2024-25 campaign with Middlesbrough unless better offers are on offer. ‘

‘The Anfield club believe Doke is the best young player in the Championship and would consider signing him if they don’t already own him.

‘Upswich are expected to continue their pursuit of the youngster with attacking reinforcements a key priority for the club as they look to climb out of the relegation zone and avoid an immediate return to the Championship.’

A new report from free Claims Liverpool have ‘set their price’ for Dovac, although they are keen to keep him outside this transfer window. The report shows:

‘Liverpool have put a £30m price tag on Ben Doak after rejecting a bid for the Scotland winger.

‘Doak has attracted interest from both Premier League and European clubs, with Crystal Palace reportedly making a £15m bid.

‘Liverpool have rejected offers out of hand and I believe the 19-year-old can play for them in the future.

‘They are delighted with Dovac’s progress on loan at Middlesbrough, where he has helped Michael Carrick mount a promotion challenge, and are willing to let him stay at the Riverside Stadium for the rest of the season.

‘Liverpool are aware of the price that other young wingers have commanded, with Crescencio Summerville’s £25m move from Leeds to West Ham and Wilson O’Dobert joining Tottenham from Burnley for £25m. Doak is worth far more than £15m.’
